Hi! :)
Welcome to my website! As some of you may know, this was once avery ugly functional spot on the web where I hosted my tutorials and files for people learning Maya and other visual effects and animation related things. It was a fun time! My tutorials, though far from perfect were some of the only resources available for people trying to learn Maya's integration of mental ray, in the early days of Maya 4.5 etc. I was lucky enough to have a few of them featured on CGChannel and the Alias website, which was very exciting... yet ultimately led to my site's demise!
Popularity (even a little) is overwhelming when you're the type of (naive?) person who wants to answer every single email or question and you haven't got enough web know-how to handle the spam as well. I couldn't keep up with the emails and the spam got to the point where my website was being suspended every few days due to the sheer amount of mail traffic! UGH!
So then my site was offline for years. Far too long. This time I'm armed with experience and the web has evolved to a point where things are so much easier to control! Hurray for progress! Now I just hope I can remember how to write tutorials...
